Contrary to popular belief that foamies are not good on
windy days with the right setup
a model like Sniper 2 X can fly as well or
better than a classic I/C funfly like Limbo Dancer , Magic ,Cougar
etc and the low speed handling is considerably better. The other benefit is
that these models are safer , cleaner and will not end up as balsa confetti
on your first dumb thumb incident.
We have
listed below the many types of EPP models that we stock grouped in styles and
construction. The models design determine how the model will fly and feel,
as well
as the suitability for you and the flying
conditions.

that in
some cases the motors are front or rear mounted and a small alteration may be
necessary. The motors include prop and motor

a low cost esc. A program card is available

+ Acessories upgrade.
The package include
motor and prop mount. You can select optional pack to include spinner,
connectors for motor and esc. Also included are better clevisis and extra
carbon is handy for control linkage and reinforcement.
+Glue pack
You can use most glues
for wirecut EPP as unlike foam it does not disolve with Cyano. Its possible to
make the model with cyano only but better is a commination of glues. We have
found the best is to use UHU Por or similar for the EPP parts and the hardware
can be fixed with either Cyano+activator or 5 Epoxy which is messy but makes a
better join. The models require carbon to be imbeded in the EPP. The best way is
to have thin 1.5mm rods in parellel either side of the surface. A scalpel
cut(not grove) is drawn and rods pushed in the cut can be filled with SpeedBond
which dries clear and not mess up the paintwork. Also this type of glue be used
to fill all cornices, a bit like bathroom silicon sealent and once set makes a
very strong model. The glue pack includes UhuPor, Epoxy and
Speedbond.
. We would gladly offer deals for group / club purchases of 3 to 5
models on some of the models on the list .
We shall have regular promotions
from time to time - look out for the "PROMO" link on our main page or our
occasional emails.
